  8.                             What is Shareware?

  11.      PC-FASTYPE is distributed as 'Shareware'.  Shareware is a computer
  12. program distribution and marketing method that permits buyers to
  13. thoroughly evaluate the program prior to purchase.  Shareware is NOT free
  14. and it is NOT in the Public Domain.  Shareware is an alternative
  15. distribution method for commercial software.  If, after evaluating
  16. PC-FASTYPE, you find it useful enough to use on a regular basis to improve
  17. your typing skills, then you are expected to pay for it by registering
  18. your 'Use' license with Trendtech Corporation.  The SINGLE-USER
  19. Registration Fee is $25.00 plus $3.00 for shipping and handling payable by
  20. check or Money Order in U.S. Funds drawn on a U.S. bank.   Corporate and
  21. Educational Site Licenses, and Right-to-Copy Licenses are also available.

  28.      The Shareware version of PC-FASTYPE displays registration information
  29. screens, registration procedures and registration inducements, as do most
  30. quality Shareware products produced by members of the Association of
  31. Shareware Professionals.

  33.      When you register your 'Use' license of PC-FASTYPE with Trendtech
  34. Corporation, you will receive a disk containing the very latest version of
  35. PC-FASTYPE along with instructions and a special code provided ONLY to
  36. registered users which when used, will eliminate the registration
  37. information screens at the beginning and end of the program.

  39.      You are also allowed to make additional copies of the latest version
  40. of PC-FASTYPE you receive and pass them on to your friends and associates.
  41. However, you are NOT allowed, under any circumstances, to give out your
  42. special code to NON-registered users of PC-FASTYPE.  This would be a
  43. dereliction of your responsibility as a registered user and a serious
  44. violation of our license agreement and good trust.

  48.      PC-FASTYPE encourages registrations by displaying various Shareware
  49. Registration information screens at the beginning and end of the program.
  50. When you use your REGISTERED version, there will be NO registration
  51. inducement interruptions to hinder your normal use of PC-FASTYPE.

  53.      When you register PC-FASTYPE and receive your special code, these
  54. registration encouragements will not appear on the display screen when you
  55. run PC-FASTYPE.  However, this Registration Information you are NOW
  56. reading in the Quick HELP Facility will still be available.

  61.      Registration gives you many benefits: you will receive a disk
  62. containing the latest version of PC-FASTYPE, special instructions along
  63. with a special code to eliminate the Shareware Information screens; plus a
  64. handsomely printed and bound User Guide,  - and, free support from
  65. Trendtech by telephone or letter.   Finally, the author's letter of
  66. sincere thanks for supporting Shareware will include an express money-back
  67. guarantee if you are not satisfied for whatever reason.

  71. associates for evaluation, please encourage them to register their copy if
  72. they find the program useful.

  78. are for their disk duplication and distribution services only.   Trendtech

  80. must obtain permission from Trendtech Corporation to distribute
  81. PC-FASTYPE.  Trendtech prefers to deal with vendors who are Associate
