What you have to do...
When you start the game, you will see a large 10x10 grid in the centre of thescreen, consisting of tiles. At the top-left you will see a timer. When the game is in progress, the timer will be running.
Underneath one of the tiles is a yellow coin. You have to find it as quickly as you can, and at the same time, using the smallest number of goes that you can.
To turn over a coin, simply click on it with the left mouse button. Several different things can be found underneath the tiles, and they are explained below:
Arrow - This will point in the direction of the coin. Eg: if you get an arrow pointing right, then the coin will be under one of the tiles to the right of the arrow. Note: it won't neccessarily be in the same row.
The arrows are the most useful, and common ones to find.
Bomb - This will immediatly reset the game. The timer will be reset, and the number of goes you have made will be reset. The coin, and other objects under the tiles will be repositioned. There will be no more than five of these under the grid.
NewPos - When found, this will briefly show you where the coin was, before moving it. Any tiles that have been turned over will be replaced.
It looks like a small yellow dot surrounded by four arrows, pointing away from it.
Bonus - When found, the number of goes you have had is reduced by 10. If this comes out at less than 0, then it will be set to 0. It looks like the task manager icon from RISC OS 2.
Plus - Same as bonus, except you have 10 added onto the number of goes that you have had.
When you have found the coin, the number of goes you took is multiplied by the number of seconds that you took, to produce your score. If your score is better than today's best (which starts off as 100), then you will be told, and your score then becomes today's best.
To start the game again, click on 'OK'.

One player game - Selects and starts the one player game. This is the game that has just been decribed.
Two player game - Selects and starts the two player game. This is described below.
The two player game...
This is very similar to the one player game, except that each player has their own time, and their own number of goes that they have taken.
The game starts with player one's turn. When they have turned over a tile, itis player two's turn. After that it is player one's turn again, and so on.
Whenever it is player one's turn, player one's timer is counting the seconds, while player two's timer isn't doing anything. This swaps round when it is player two's turn. That is, player one's timer stops, and player two's timer starts.
If player one discovers a plus, then only player one's number of goes will goup by 10. If player two discovers a bonus, then only player two's number of goes will decrease by 10 (Note: if the result is less than 0, then it will beset to 0).
If player one discovers a bomb, then the grid will be reset, both timers willbe reset, and both players number of goes will be set to zero, but it will still be player two's go next.
The game ends when the coin is discovered. If player one discovered the coin, then player two's number of goes will increase by five. If on the other hand, player two discovers the coin, then player one's number of goes will increaseby five.
Each players time is multiplied by the number of goes that they used to calculate that players score.
The player with the lowest score wins. It is therefore possible that the player who found the coin may lose, but by finding the coin, their chances ofwinning are greatly improved.
