-
- BBS NOTES:
-
- If you're a SysOp, you are free to archive WCS in the archive format
- of your judgement. As with disk vendors, you may break WCS into more
- manageable DL sizes, but we prefer that you put EXE's/docs in one
- archive and SAMPLES in another.
-
- *******************************************************************
-
- INSTALLATION NOTES FOR VENDORS:
-
- WCS does not include a standard installation program, as we do
- not have control over the media of distribution (i.e. we can't
- standardize a Win3 install unless we can standardize the media.)
- Also, a Win3 SETUP.EXE would also consume disk space more than
- what is being taken up now.
-
- If you are a disk vendor, you may include any install routine
- required, such as a batch file, etc. All that is required is to
- put WCS in a single subdirectory of it's own. It does not need
- to modify the WIN.INI file.
-
- If you are distributing on 360k media (or images), you are free
- to archive as you see best, providing that WCS is distributed in
- it's entirity. We would prefer you to put the EXE's/docs on one
- disk and SAMPLES on another such that the user can install easier.
