Danielle Peacock is a mixed media artist born in Ottawa, Ontario, in 1955. She studied at Carleton University, Ottawa, from 1972-1974 and at the Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1980.
Scope and content
The work, entitled "more of either/or", 1997 by Danielle Peacock, consists of a manuscript text titled "Instructions," on board, 21.5 x 28 cm, a black and white photoprint, 11.5 x 17 cm, of Peacock's work "either/or" exhibited at the Grunt Gallery, Vancouver, 1994, "Tenth Anniversary Show," a long piece of grey fabric, fringed at top and bottom containing two stacks of cards, twenty cards in total, black cards wrapped in white felt with black ribbon, white cards wrapped in black felt with white ribbon, and all wrapped in grey fabric with clear ribbon and a plastic "more of either/or" title applied to the cloth bundle's exterior.
