Joan Smith and Barbara Zeigler have collaborated as artists to produce a work "Earthmakers" in 1995, exhibited at the Edmonton Art Gallery, 1995, and at exhibited the Richmond Art Gallery, 1998.
Scope and content
The work, entitled "Earthmakers," consists of a open box frame in foamcore covered in paper with images of insects, 26.5 x 9.5 x 23.5 cm, with a sequence of eleven hanging sheets, 22.5 x 25 cm, of mixed film, prints, negative and cover transparency, and one plastic bag containing cedar wood chips attached to the title sheet.
