Scope and content
The work consists of a relief sculpture entitled "When I agreed to recycle..." composed of recycled plastic, paper, wood and mylar, 37.5 x 25 x 12 cm.
Note
The artist stated the following: "'When I agreed to recycle...' presented a challenge to use throw away items, very little space and time, to create an image. Recycling brought a "Blue Box" to mind but I never dreamed I would end up having to fit into a 10.25 x 15.25 x 5 inches space. Interaction with the viewer is created by the use of a reflected background."
