  3. Before Playing Browser

  5. 1) You need to have a recent version of QuickTime¬ installed on your computer. To install version 2.5 open the ╥QuickTime Install╙ folder.  Next open ╥Quicktime 2.5 ╙ and then ╥QuickTime¬ Install Disk 1.╙  Double-click ╥Installer╙ and follow the instructions.

  7. Playing Browser

  9. 1)  Open the CD-ROM. Double-click the "Artropolis 97" file appropriate to your computer.  
  10. You can quit at any time by pressing command-Q. If you quit while in the database you will return to the interactive section.

  12. 2)  You can also open the Browser database directly.
  13. Double-click the file named "Browser" on the CD-ROM.
  14.  
  15. 3)  The recommended colour depth for your monitor is 16-bit (thousands of colours).

  22. 640 x 480 monitor with 16-bit colour (thousands of colours)
