PURPOSE
-------
The purpose of this program is to keep a database of peoples addresses
and phone numbers, and allow dialing their phone number using your modem
from within the program.
REQUIREMENTS
------------
An IBM compatible computer with a 1200 or 2400 baud modem on COM1 or COM2

Three phone numbers per entry
Pop up notebook, three pages per entry, with time and date stamp

The files distributed in this release are:
ZIPDIAL.exe ..... the program
ZDIAL21.doc ..... this document
INSTALLATION
------------
a) Copy all files to a subdirectory and run ZIPDIAL.EXE
b) Select the S-etup option
c) Ensure COM port setup and Modem setup is correct for your system
d) Q-uit back to ZIPDIAL main screen
e) A-dd Addresses and Phone Numbers as desired
OPERATION
---------
F-ind .... Finds the first record matching an inputed value
A-dd .... Adds a new record
E-dit .... Edits a selected record
M-ark .... Mark / Unmarks record for DELETION. Records that are marked
will be DELETED when the program is exited.
D-ial .... pops up the DIALING MENU window
H-ome .......... Dials the Home number
W-ork .......... Dials the Work number
O-ther ......... Dials the Other number
Space Bar ...... Hangs up the line
Q-uit (Esc) .... Closes the DIALING MENU window
N-ote .... pops up the NOTE BOOK window
E-dit .......... Edits the current note
S-tamp ......... Stamps current time/date to the note
D-elete ........ Deletes the note
PgUp ........... Moves to a previous note page
PgDn ........... Moves to next note page
Q-uit (Esc) .... Closes the NOTE BOOK window
S-etup ... pops up the SETUP MENU window
E-dit .......... Allows editing of COM port and Modem data
I-nitialize .... Initializes the COM port and Modem
Q-uit (Esc) .... Closes the SETUP MENU window
C-olor ... pops up the SCREEN COLORS window
............. Select color variable
SPACE BAR ....... Change color
Enter ........... Closes the SCREEN COLORS window and Save Changes
Escape .......... Closes the SCREEN COLORS window and Leave Changes
Q-uit (Esc) ...... Quits the program, removes any records marked for deletion
MOUSE OPERATION
---------------
Left Button ... Enter ..... Select option
Right Button ... (Esc) ..... Close selected window
Click left button on the FIRST LETTER or the OPTION you want to perform
Examples:
A-dd ......... Click left button on 'A'
SPACE BAR .... Click left button anywhere on 'SPACE BAR'
Click on a record to move to that record
Click on line above records moves up one record
Click on line below records moves down one record
WHILE IN EDIT

Ctrl W ...... Ends edit / saves all changes
Esc ......... Ends edit / does NOT save changes to the current field
........... Moves to next field
........... Moves to previous field
Ctrl End .... Moves to last field
Ctrl Hme .... Moves to first field
Ctrl Y ...... Erases from cursor position to end of the current field
