  2.       SCREEN SAVER(tm) 2.10 README.1ST

  4.       Thank you for your interest in Screen Saver!  Please read the
  5.       important notes that follow.
  6.  
  7.       SHAREWARE
  8.  
  9.       Screen Saver(tm) is distributed as a Shareware product.
  10.       Shareware is a unique marketing method that allows you to "try
  11.       copyrighted software before you buy".  Shareware authors release
  12.       programs with an element of trust, expecting payment if the
  13.       program is used beyond a free trail period.  With Screen Saver
  14.       you are granted a trial period that last 30 days.  During the
  15.       trial period you can decide if Screen Saver will fit your
  16.       particular needs.  If it doesn't, you simple quit using the
  17.       program.  If, however, you like Screen Saver and want to
  18.       continue to use it, your are required to register it.  See the
  19.       enclosed License Agreement and Order Form for further details.

  21.       IMPORTANT==> PRINTING THE MANUAL!!!

  23.       There are 2 versions of the Screen Saver Manual: SS.DOC; and
  24.       SS.DOT.  The reason for this is that SS.DOC contains graphics
  25.       characters and the SS.DOT does not.
  26.  
  27.       If you have a printer that can print the IBM Graphics
  28.       Characters, then print the SS.DOC file.  If you get a lot of
  29.       funny characters when printing the SS.DOC file, then either your
  30.       printer is not setup properly in order to support the IBM
  31.       Graphics Character set, or it does not support the IBM Graphics
  32.       Character set at all.  In any case, printing the SS.DOT file and
  33.       it will eliminate the Graphics Characters and should print
  34.       properly on just about any printer on the market.
  35.  
  36.       There are 2 batch files included that will automate the printing
  37.       of the manual.  Use PRINTDOC.BAT to print the manual with IBM
  38.       Graphics Characters, and PRINTDOT.BAT for nongraphics printers.
  39.       To print the manual of your choice, just type the proper batch
  40.       file name at the DOS command line.

  44.       The Shareware version of Screen Saver 2.10 should contain ALL of

  64.       IMPORTANT!  If any of these files are not exactly as they appear
  65.       above, please do not use the program.  Please call us and let us
  66.       know how and where you received the program so that we may
  67.       provide them with an up-to-date version of Screen Saver.
