  2. Time Synchronizer v1.0 for Windows NT

  5. 1. Introduction
  6. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  7. Time Synchronizer is used to synchronize time on multiple computers running 
  8. Microsoft Windows NT on the network.
  9. It runs as a service, which updates local time at the specified time interval.
  10.  
  11. 2. Installation
  12. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  13. During Time Synchronizer installation process, you accomplish the following:
  14.     ╖ install Time Synchronizer service
  15.     ╖ configure Time Synchronizer service
  16.     ╖ define Time Synchronizer startup status
  17.  
  18. To install the Time Synchronizer, you should do the following:
  19.     1. Log on to Windows NT as Administrator
  20.     2. Copy timesync.exe, timesync.cpl and timesync.hlp to your SYSTEM32
  21.        directory
  22.     3. Change current directory to your SYSTEM32 directory and run this
  23.        command:
  24.         timesync /install
  25.     4. Run Control Panel and double click on the Time Synchronizer icon
  26.     5. Configure Time Synchronizer (for more information, see Configuring Time 
  27.        Synchronizer in the help file)
  28.     6. Double click on the Services icon in the Control Panel
  29.     7. Select Time Synchronizer from the list and press Startup button
  30.     8. Select Automatic on Startup and press OK
  31.     9. Start the Time Synchronizer service, if you have not done so already
