  1. NOTE: this is not a complete package.  you need the dos version of POVray
  2. to have this work, and the portable POVray source code if you want to
  3. compile (only the modified source files are included).

  5. I have ported POVray 2.2 to a WinNT console mode application.
  6. all you need to do is install the dos version, and then replace
  7. the executable with the povray.exe in this zipfile.  it is optimized
  8. for pentium and 486.  also included (in pov-nt.zip) is the source codes
  9. and makefiles for compiling povray for WinNT.  the NT povray.exe is about
  10. 25% faster on my 486 than the dos version, and it multitasks much better.
  11. the +D option is disabled.
