  1. This file describes the files that make up the Ataman(TM) TCP Remote Logon
  2. Services.

  4. The Ataman TCP Remote Logon Services is governed by the license contained
  5. in the file license.txt.  You should read and accept the terms of
  6. the license before installing the Ataman TCP Remote Logon Services.
  7.  
  8. The Ataman TCP Remote Logon Services package is shareware.  Ordering
  9. information is contained in the file order.txt.
  10.  
  11. Information about changes at each release can be found in the file
  12. release.txt.

  14. The Ataman TCP Remote Logon Services provides an implementation of the
  15. Internet telnet and Berkeley rlogin protocols for Microsoft Windows NT
  16. version 3.1 or newer.  Details of its usage and installation can be found
  17. in the User's Manual.  The file userman.doc contains a Microsoft Word 6.0
  18. document that contains the main source of the user manual.  The file
  19. userman.wri is a translation of userman.doc into Windows 3.0 Write format.
  20. It is provided for users that cannot read the Word formatted document.

  22. The files telnetd.exe, rlogind.exe, startcmd.exe, and transcmd.exe are the
  23. executables that make up the rlogind and telnetd services.

  25. Registered users will will also receive an rexecd.exe file that provides
  26. an implementation of the Berkeley rexec protocol.
