- SYMPTOMS

- When you print to a serial printer, data may be lost and print jobs may be
- incomplete or corrupt. This problem usually occurs at baud transmissions
- higher than 2400.

- CAUSE
- =====

- This problem occurs when the Windows NT Kernel does not pass Flow Control
- information from the serial port(s) to Print Manager correctly.

- STATUS
- ======

- Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT
- Advanced Server version 3.1. A fix to this problem is in development, but
- has not been regression-tested and may be destabilizing in production
- environments. Microsoft does not recommend implementing this fix at this
- time. Contact Microsoft Product Support Services for more information on
- the availability of this fix.
