  18. Intermittent keyboard error messages appear when running Windows NT or
  19. Windows NT Advanced Server on a Dell Computer Corporation computer with a
  20. Cybex Autoboot Commander keyboard switch box.

  22. CAUSE

  25. There is a problem with the BIOS on Dell computers that does not allow the
  26. necessary 10 milliseconds for the Autoboot Commander to properly respond to
  27. commands.

  29. STATUS

  32. Dell Computer Corporation is aware of the problem and is making corrections
  33. to its BIOS. Below is a list of affected Dell computers and tentative BIOS
  34. revisions that Dell expects will fix this problem:
