  18. When you use the Fonts applet in Control Panel to add additional fonts, you
  19. don't have the option to install any compressed non-TrueType fonts.

  21. WORKAROUND
  22. ==========

  24. You can work around this problem by manually expanding the non-TrueType
  25. font to a location on your hard disk or a floppy disk, then choose this
  26. location when you install fonts from Control Panel.

  31. Steps to Reproduce Problem
  32. --------------------------

  34. 1. From the Control Panel window, choose the Fonts icon.
  35.  
  36. 2. Choose the Add button.
  37.  
  38. 3. Select a drive and a directory that contains one or more non-TrueType
  39.    compressed fonts. For example, choose the i386 directory from the
  40.    Windows NT CD.
  41.  
  42. After all font names have been retrieved, notice that the List of Fonts
  43. contains only TrueType fonts.
