  18. Mitsumi Electronics manufactures low-cost CD-ROM drives that operate on non-
  19. SCSI host adapters. These drives are not currently on the Windows NT
  20. Hardware Compatibility List.

  25. Currently there are two sources for Mitsumi CD-ROM drivers for use with
  26. Windows NT:
  27.  
  28.  -  A shareware driver written for the Mitsumi LU002 and LU005 CD-ROM
  29.    drives is available on CompuServe. This driver works only for 30 days
  30.    after installation unless you send the author a registration fee of $20.
  31.    This unsupported driver can be obtained from the Third Party section of
  32.    MicrosoftÆs MSWIN32 forum on CompuServe. Please note that this driver is
  33.    not supported by Microsoft or Mitsumi.

  35.  - Media Synergy has written a driver that supports the Mitsumi LU005S,
  36.    LU002, and FX001D CD-ROM drives. Media Synergy can be reached at
  37.    (416) 593-0647. There is currently a charge for this driver ($49.95 plus
  38.    $5.00 shipping, U.S. funds). Media Synergy provides support for this
  39.    driver.
