  18. You may experience some problems when you upgrade your CPU on an existing
  19. Windows NT installation.

  24. In most cases there should be no issue in upgrading a CPU, though there can
  25. be problems with incompatibility after the upgrade, even with a system on
  26. the Hardware Compatibility List. Be sure to test any CPU upgrade thoroughly
  27. on each platform before you attempt a large-scale upgrade. If problems
  28. arise, you may need to contact your hardware vendor to upgrade a system
  29. board or to follow other procedures they may suggest.
