- When you run ACLCONV on a large volume with many directories (15,000 or
- more) ACLCONV may fail and you may need to restart Windows NT. ACLCONV uses
- the paging file to store access control list (ACL) information. One of its
- processes does not release some of this memory for each ACL entry. With a
- very large number of directory and file entries, this problem can quickly
- fill up your paging file.

- Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and
- Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in
- the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced
- Server version 3.1. For information on obtaining the Service Pack,
