- SYMPTOMS
- ========

- If you press CTRL+C during the operation of the PORTUAS program, user
- modals, such as the minimum password length and the password history,
- are not changed to their final values.

- CAUSE
- =====

- PORTUAS sets all user modals to temporary values initially. When it
- finishes, it assigns them final values. If you press CTRL+C, it keeps
- the temporary values.

- STATUS
- ======

- Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT
- Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in the latest U.S.
- Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. For
- information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the following word in
