  15. If you have multiple printers installed, deleting the soft fonts from
  16. one printer removes the fonts from the entire system, including all
  17. other printers where you may have the fonts installed.
  18.  
  19. When soft fonts are installed, they are available to all printers that
  20. are able to use them. If you install another printer, the fonts are
  21. automatically available to that printer. Thus, deleting fonts from one
  22. printer also deletes them from all printers.

  27. The only way to retrieve the fonts is to reinstall them.

  32. Steps to Reproduce Problem
  33. --------------------------

  35. 1. Open Print Manager and select one of your installed printers that
  36.    uses soft fonts.
  37.  
  38. 2. From the Printer menu, choose Properties.
  39.  
  40. 3. Choose Setup and select Soft Fonts.
  41.  
  42. 4. Highlight any number of installed soft fonts.
  43.  
  44. 5. Choose Delete.
  45.  
  46. 6. Select any other installed PostScript printer and the fonts deleted
  47.    will not be installed.
