  18. When you install Peachtree Accounting for MS-DOS version 7.0 under
  19. Windows NT, if you attempt to restart the computer when prompted by
  20. Peachtree's setup program, you may receive one of the following error
  21. messages:
  22.  
  23.    The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
  24.  
  25.    -or-
  26.  
  27.    ERROR Writing to LPT1: for Document Remote Downlevel Document:
  28.    The device is not ready
  29.  
  30.    Do you wish to retry or cancel the job?
  31.  
  32. RESOLUTION

  35. Windows NT will not allow Peachtree to restart the computer. Always
  36. choose No when prompted during the installation. To workaround the
  37. above error messages, close Peachtree and restart it.
  38.
