  18. When you run the StreBlt GDI StretchBlt Win32 API sample, Windows NT
  19. may stop responding (hang).

  24. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft C/C++
  25. version 8.0 that shipped with Visual C++ for Windows NT and Windows NT
  26. version 3.1. We are researching this problem and will post new
  27. information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes
  28. available.

  33. Steps to Reproduce Problem
  34. --------------------------

  36. 1. Build the StreBlt sample using the supplied makefile.
  37.  
  38. 2. The sample displays a dialog box for the main window. There are
  39.    three drop-down list controls titled StretchBltMode, Pattern, and
  40.    Standard ROPs. Select the following in these drop-down lists:

  42.       StretchBltMode    BLACKONWHITE
  43.       Pattern           NULL_BRUSH
  44.       Standard ROPs    PATPAINT
  45.  
  46. At this point, Windows NT stops responding.
