- When you run the StreBlt GDI StretchBlt Win32 API sample, Windows NT
- may stop responding (hang).

- STATUS

- Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft C/C++
- version 8.0 that shipped with Visual C++ for Windows NT and Windows NT
- version 3.1. We are researching this problem and will post new
- information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes
- available.

- Steps to Reproduce Problem
- --------------------------

- 1. Build the StreBlt sample using the supplied makefile.

- 2. The sample displays a dialog box for the main window. There are
- three drop-down list controls titled StretchBltMode, Pattern, and
- Standard ROPs. Select the following in these drop-down lists:
-
- StretchBltMode BLACKONWHITE
- Pattern NULL_BRUSH
- Standard ROPs PATPAINT

- At this point, Windows NT stops responding.
