  18. Under Windows NT, Adobe Type Manager (ATM) fonts embedded in a file
  19. may cause 16-bit Windows 3.0 or 3.1 applications, such as Photoshop,
  20. to stop (crash) when attempting to load them.
  21.  
  22. Steps to Reproduce Problem
  23. --------------------------

  25. 1. Open Photoshop (or another application that supports EPS files).
  26.  
  27. 2. Open APERTURE.EPS (found in the tutorial folder of Photoshop) or
  28.    open any EPS file that contains embedded ATM fonts.
  29.  
  30. Photoshop (or another application) may crash when attempting to load
  31. the file.
  32.  
  33. CAUSE
  34. =====
  35.  
  36. Because Adobe Type Manager does not currently work under Windows NT,
  37. ATM fonts embedded in a document may cause an application to crash.
  38.  
  39. RESOLUTION
  40. ==========

  42. Remove any embedded ATM fonts from the file or document using the
  43. 16-bit Windows 3.0 or 3.1 application or an application that can
  44. remove the fonts.
  45.
