- Under Windows NT, Adobe Type Manager (ATM) fonts embedded in a file
- may cause 16-bit Windows 3.0 or 3.1 applications, such as Photoshop,
- to stop (crash) when attempting to load them.

- Steps to Reproduce Problem
- --------------------------

- 1. Open Photoshop (or another application that supports EPS files).
-
- 2. Open APERTURE.EPS (found in the tutorial folder of Photoshop) or
- open any EPS file that contains embedded ATM fonts.

- Photoshop (or another application) may crash when attempting to load
- the file.

- CAUSE
- =====

- Because Adobe Type Manager does not currently work under Windows NT,
- ATM fonts embedded in a document may cause an application to crash.

- RESOLUTION
- ==========

- Remove any embedded ATM fonts from the file or document using the
- 16-bit Windows 3.0 or 3.1 application or an application that can
- remove the fonts.
