  17. One of the following messages will appear if you try to move, delete,
  18. copy, or rename a file whose name contains a trailing space:
  19.  
  20.  - File Manager cannot move <filename and path>: The system cannot
  21.    find the file specified. Make sure the correct path and filename
  22.    are specified and the network is started.
  23.  
  24.  - The system cannot find the file specified <filename and path>
  25.  
  26.  - Could not find <filename and path>
  27.  
  28. CAUSE
  29. =====
  30.  
  31. Windows NT cannot handle trailing spaces in filenames. This problem
  32. usually only occurs on domains that are connected to Macintosh
  33. computers. Under the Macintosh operating system, filenames with
  34. trailing spaces are support. Windows NT Advanced Server computers
  35. connected via Services for Macintosh (SFM) can obtain files with
  36. trailing spaces. However, once the files have been created, it is
  37. difficult to manager them. The filename is not touched by Windows NT
  38. and no MS-DOS FAT-compatible (8.3) filename is created.

  43. Rename files with trailing spaces from a Macintosh computer, removing
  44. trailing spaces.
