- PRODUCT :Windows NT
- PROD/VER:3.10

- ----------------------------------------------------------------------
- The information in this article applies to:
-
- - Microsoft Windows NT operating system version 3.1

- ----------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- SYMPTOMS
- ========
-
- If Dr. Watson is running and you press the F1 key for Help while you
- are in a virtual MS-DOS machine (VDM), Dr. Watson for Windows NT Help
- displays instead.
-
- CAUSE
- =====
-
- Dr. Watson traps the F1 keystroke and displays its Help file when the
- F1 key is pressed. This will occur even if the foreground application
- uses the F1 key to display its Help. The foreground application's Help
- screen will be displayed and then Dr. Watson's Help screen will be
- displayed on top of it.
-
- RESOLUTION
- ==========
-
- To view the foreground application's Help screen, close the Dr. Watson
- Help screen.
-
- STATUS
- ======
-
- Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.1
- and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. We are researching this
- problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge
- Base as it becomes available.
