  14. When you start a Windows NT Advanced Server 3.1 computer, you may
  15. receive the following error message:
  16.  
  17.    At Least One Service or Driver Failed During System Startup. Use
  18.    Event Viewer to Examine the Event Log for Details.
  19.  
  20. In the Event Viewer, there may be the following event message from the
  21. Browser service:
  22.  
  23.    The browser has forced an election on network \Device\Nbf_Lance01
  24.    because a Windows NT Advanced Server (or domain master) browser is
  25.    started.
  26.  
  27. If this error message is present, it means that there was no browse
  28. master available at the time you started the computer. Therefore, the
  29. Browser service forced an election (of a Browsemaster) on the network.
  30. The error message is harmless and should be ignored.
  31.  
  32. This message occurs on a Windows NT Advanced Server computer if that
  33. computer is the only domain controller for that domain. You will
  34. receive this error message each time you start up this computer. The
  35. Windows NT Advanced Server computer has a higher priority than any
  36. other computers, such as Windows for Workgroups computers, so it was
  37. chosen as the browse master.
