  17. While attempting to log onto a Windows NT Advanced Server domain from
  18. a Windows for Workgroups version 3.1 workstation, the following error
  19. message may be displayed:

  21.    Network Error 2240
  22.  
  23. CAUSE
  24. =====

  26. This error message is generated because the user's Windows for
  27. Workgroups workstation is not listed as a possible workstation in the
  28. "User May Log On To These Workstations:" dialog in the profile for
  29. that user on the Windows NT Advanced Server.

  31. RESOLUTION

  34. To allow the user to log onto the domain, the user's Windows for
  35. Workgroups workstation name must me added to the list in Windows NTAS
  36. User Manager - User Properties - Logon From dialog box.
