  15. To enable a warning or logon message dialog box add the following
  16. string(s) to key values in the Registry. To do this run REGEDT32.EXE
  17. and drill down to:
  18.  
  19. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE on Local Machine
  20. SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon.

  26. LegalNoticeText       REG_SZ      enter the message of your choice

  28. This message will appear after pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL keys to logon.

  32. When WINLOGON sees the CTRL+ALT+DEL secure attention sequence, it will
  33. look at the above strings.  If either or both of them are not empty,
  34. then Windows NT will put up an information dialog containing these
  35. strings.  The logon sequence will not continue until the user
  36. acknowledges this information screen, then the normal logon dialog
  37. screen will be displayed.
