   ocr: Unfortunately, The Chemicals revert back to their techno days ona fair number of tracks. "Dig Your Own Hole" is lead-tooted dance stuff, all stomp and no groove. And "It Doesn't Matter" is a bland tech- no thumper that should've been left - on the studio floor. Even the much-hyped "Setting Sun" isa bitofa letdown: Oasis rontman Noel Gallagher's couldn'tbe-bothered mum- bling over an extremely repetitive loop. But, faults aside, thisisa a gutsy record for the Chemicals to make and by and large it's a real success. You'll probably reada nundred pieces heralding The Chemicals' "bold new move. But ...
