Transcription: Imagine a cross between Quake and The Seventh Guest and you've got Interplay's latest title, Realms of the Haunting. Realms works better as an action game than as an adventure. The puzzles are tough but always fair. Unfortunately the game's cumbersome plot calls for lots of murky video cutscenes with C-movie acting. This aside, Realms' impressive lighting and sound effects make the haunted house genuinely creepy and the 3D rendered bad guys, while not quite Quake quality, are pretty cool.
