  15.                              Overview
  16.      METZ TSR is a DOS application which is to be used in conjunction
  17. with the various METZ Software Microsoft Windows applications.  This
  18. TSR (Terminate and Stay Resident) is an application which prevents
  19. a METZ Software application inactivity timeout while you are running
  20. a DOS application under Windows.  In the past, the inactivity timeout
  21. could occur while you were still working in the DOS application.  Now,
  22. with METZ TSR installed, it will only occur after the specified interval
  23. of keyboard and mouse inactivity has elapsed, regardless of whether you
  24. are running a DOS application.
  25.      If you use any of the METZ Screen Savers or the METZ Lock product
  26. and run DOS applications under Microsoft Windows, we suggest that you
  27. install METZ TSR.  To install this product, either add a line containing
  28. METZTSR to your autoexec.bat file or type METZTSR at the DOS prompt
  29. before you run Microsoft Windows.
  30.      Many METZ Lock users have asked for an option to prevent Ctrl-Alt-Del
  31. from resetting their system.  This can now be acomplished by adding a
  32. command line option of "/!" to the tsr when it is first run.  For example:
  33. "METZTSR /!" will disable the ctrl+alt+del keystroke combination from
  34. dos and under Real and Standard mode Windows.

  37. METZTSR will work with the following METZ products:
  38.      METZ File F/X
  39.      METZ Lock
  40.      METZ Task Manager
  41.      METZ Desktop Navigator
  42.      METZ Desktop Manager
  43. Previous versions are not affected by this tsr.

  45. METZTSR.COM uses only 935 bytes of memory.
  46.  
  47. METZTSR uses the function number 169 when it is installed.  If by
  48. chance you have another TSR installed which uses the same function
  49. number, you can override the default function with a /f option:
  50.    METZTSR /f###
  51. where ### is the new number between 128 and 255.
  52. You will also need to add the same function number to the WIN.INI file
  53. under the section pertaining to the particular METZ Software
  54. application:

  59. The METZ Software application will not attempt to interface with the
  60. TSR if the function=0 in the WIN.INI file.

  64. METZ Software.
