  12.             in the various versions of the program.

  68.                       1    Filefind is MS Windows 3.0 compatible.  It
  69.                            may also be run under MS Windows 2.x.
  70.  
  71.                       2    The tree display allows the same multiple
  72.                            selections as the file list.  The directory
  73.                            searches are performed on all selected
  74.                            directories.
  75.  
  76.                       3    The FileSpec dialog has been changed to allow
  77.                            setting the search specification without
  78.                            actually invoking the search.  This is useful
  79.                            for when the initial search is for a filespec
  80.                            in selected directories.  The OK button has
  81.                            been renamed Search and the new button is
  82.                            named Set.

  84.                       4    Copying the selection list or the entire file
  85.                            list to the clipboard has been added.  File
  86.                            times, dates, etc. may also be optionally
  87.                            copied to the clipboard.

  90.                            Filefind now checks the programs as it always
  91.                            did, and if it can not run the file as a
  92.                            program, looks for an associated program in
  93.                            the [Extensions] section of the WIN.INI file.

  95.                            started and the selected file is passed to it
  96.                            as a runtime parameter.

  99.                            FileView may be run stand alone or as a run
  100.                            option within Filefind.  Windows 2.x/3.x and

  107.                       1    The majority of the dialog boxes have been
  108.                            changed from titled dialog boxes to bordered
  109.                            dialog boxes.  This was done to conform with
  110.                            the application style guidelines.  Similar
  111.                            changes have been made to certain controls
  112.                            (e.g. certain check boxes have been changed
  113.                            to radio buttons to keep with the style
  114.                            guidelines).

  118.                       -    The Run and Action menus have been combined
  119.                            into one Action menu.  This was done mostly

  127.                            the Edit menu and wanted to keep the menu on

  150.                       1    Fixed crashes that occurred when exiting

  154.                       2    The tab key now stops at the disk drive
  155.                            scroll bars allowing the left and right
  156.                            cursor keys to scroll the drive list.

  158.                       3    Filefind is now fully functional from the
  159.                            keyboard.  The mouse is now optional.

  161.                       4    The filespec edit box allows users to enter a
  162.                            specification containing drives or paths.
  163.                            Prior versions used whatever was entered in
  164.                            the search.  This usually resulted in the
  165.                            file being found in all directories on the
  166.                            disk.  The search specification is now parsed
  167.                            and everything but the filename and extension
  168.                            is ignored.

  170.                       5    Previously, the files listed by the first
  171.                            search done would be in DOS order.  The same
  172.                            search performed a second time would match
  173.                            the tree order.  Now the first search also
  174.                            matches the tree order.

  176.                       6    The <End> key in scrolling has been fixed to
  177.                            always show the last line in the scrolled
  178.                            list.  Left and right cursor keys have been

  288.                            Filefind no longer rebuilds the directory
  289.                            tree when a subsequent search is requested.
  290.                            This speeds up the new search considerably.

  293.                            The move and copy operations will cause
  294.                            Filefind to re-search the disk based on the
  295.                            current search specification.
