  22.  This first version of Windows Reminder is finally ready for release.
  23.  We believe the program to be bug free and fully functional.  We 
  24.  and others have been using it for months without problems.  The file
  25.  RM-NEWS.TXT has a short description of the features of Windows Reminder
  26.  and Windows Cal.
  27.  
  28.  Since this is the first release, we encourage any feedback as to 
  29.  what you would like to see in future versions, and also any bugs 
  30.  or problems with the program. 
  31.  
  32.  While the hard copy manual is still being edited and will be 
  33.  sent to registered customers, complete online documentation is 
  34.  available in the installation directory as REMINDER.HLP. You 
  35.  can view the help file by using Windows WinHelp or pressing the 
  36.  F1 key while in Windows Reminder.

  43.  Unlicensed copies of Windows Reminder are 100% fully functional.

  45.  Unlicensed copies of Windows Reminder have a pesky registration 
  46.  reminder screen that pops up whenever you start the program.

  86.                HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS REMINDER

  88.  Use our SETUP.EXE program, which will copy the files for you and install 
  89.  a WINDOWS REMINDER group in the program manager with a TUT (Tutorial) account.
  90.  To use our SETUP.EXE program...   (Manual install instructions below)

  92.    1) Close down all extraneous Windows applications.
  93.  
  94.    2) Double-Click on the SETUP.EXE program

  96.    3) When the setup program asks for a directory, specify initial directory,
  97.       or accept the given default (C:\WINDOWS REMINDER).

  102.                     ON-LINE SUPPORT

  104.  Windows Reminder has on-line support on a number of computer systems.
  105.  
  106.  First of all, the home of Windows Reminder is on Compuserve, in the
  107.  WINAPA forum, in the Wilson WindowWare section (#15 currently).  Also
  108.  the latest and greatest downloads are available from DL15 of the
  109.  WINAPA forum.  The Wilson WindowWare section of the WINAPA forum
  110.  is checked on a daily basis, and all questions will be responded to.

  112.  The FidoNet Windows echomail conference is also monitored for Windows
  113.  questions in general.  Questions about Windows and Windows Reminder will
  114.  be answered in the echo.

  117.  that you contact your local BBS sysops and encourage them to carry
  118.  the Windows echomail conferences.

  147.  SOFTWARE LICENSE

  149.  Windows Reminder and Windows Cal are not and have never been
  150.  public domain software, nor are they free software. 
  151.  
  152.  Non-licensed users are granted a limited license to use Windows 
  153.  Reminder and Windows Cal on a 21-day trial basis for the purpose
  154.  of determining whether the programs are suitable for their needs.
  155.  The use of these programs, except for the initial 21-day trial, 
  156.  requires registration.  The use of unlicensed copies of Windows 
  157.  Reminder or Windows Cal, outside of the initial 21-day trial,by
  158.  any person, business, corporation, government agency or any other
  159.  entity is strictly prohibited.

  161.  A single user license permits a user to use Windows Reminder
  162.  and Windows Cal only on a single computer.  Licensed users may
  163.  use the program on different computers, but may not use the program
  164.  on more than one computer at the same time.

  166.  No one may modify or patch the Windows Reminder or Windows Cal
  167.  executable files in any way,  including but not limited to
  168.  decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise reverse engineering

  172.  Reminder and Windows Cal only for the trial use of others,

  178.   2)    The full machine-readable Windows Reminder and Windows Cal
  179.      documentation must be included with each copy.

  181.   3)    Windows Reminder and Windows Cal may not be distributed in

  183.     to do so from Wilson WindowWare.

  185.   4)    No fee, charge, or other compensation may be requested or

  188.         A) Operators of electronic bulletin board systems (sysops)
  189.            may make Windows Reminder and Windows Cal available for
  190.        downloading only as long as the above conditions are met.
  191.        An overall or time-dependent charge for the use of the
  192.        bulletin board system is permitted as long as there is not
  193.        a specific charge for the download of these programs.

  195.         B) Vendors of user-supported or shareware software approved by
  196.            the ASP may distribute these programs, subject to the
  197.            above conditions, without specific permission.  Non-
  198.            approved vendors may distribute these programs only after
  199.            obtaining written permission from Wilson WindowWare.
  200.            Such permission is usually granted.  Please write for
  201.            details (enclose your catalog).  Vendors may charge a
  202.            disk duplication and handling fee, which, when pro-rated
  203.            to these products, may not exceed eight dollars.

  205.         C) Non-profit user groups may distribute copies of the 
  206.            Windows Reminder and Windows Cal diskette to their members,

  211.   LIMITED WARRANTY

  213.   Wilson WindowWare guarantees your satisfaction with this
  214.   product for a period of 90 days from the date of original
  215.   purchase.  If you are unsatisfied with Windows Reminder
  216.   within that time period, return the package in saleable
  217.   condition to the place of purchase for a full refund.

  219.   Wilson WindowWare warrants that all disks provided are
  220.   free from defects in material and workmanship, assuming
  221.   normal use, for a period of 90 days from the date of
  222.   purchase.

  224.   Wilson WindowWare warrants that the program will perform
  225.   in substantial compliance with the documentation supplied
  226.   with the software product.  If a significant defect in
  227.   the product is found, the Purchaser may return the
  228.   product for a refund.  In no event will such a refund
  229.   exceed the purchase price of the product.

  231.   EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE, WILSON WINDOWWARE DISCLAIMS ALL
  232.   WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT
