  3. To see ClockMan's new features for yourself, load the SAMPLES.ALR
  4. file.  Then select each alarm and click on the "Test" button!

  8. THE INFOBARS --
  9. --> NEW!  DateBar - Displays today's date on the active window's
  10.     caption bar.  TimeBar was so popular, we thought we'd keep it
  11.     company!

  13. --> IMPROVED!  Both DateBar's and TimeBar's formats are controlled by
  14.     the International settings from the Control Panel.
  15.  
  16. --> NEW!  DateBar & TimeBar are both hotspots.  Right-click on them to
  17.     quickly bring up the ClockMan system menu.  Left-click on them to
  18.     go directly to the Set Alarms dialog.  You can even run ClockMan
  19.     hidden, and yet still have full access to its dialog boxes!

  22. MORE ALARM OPTIONS --
  23. --> NEW!  TimeSquare message type.  Your alarm message scrolls across
  24.     the active window's caption bar.  Choose from several scrolling
  25.     patterns.  "It's NEAT-O!"

  27. --> NEW (Win31)!  Audible alarms can now play \/  \/ /--\ \/  files!

  31. LAUNCHING PROGRAMS & SENDING KEYSTROKES --
  32. --> NEW!  Send keystrokes to a DOS APP!  You can send _any_ key to a
  33.     DOS app in a DOS box.  (It can't be iconized or full screen.)
  34.     Read Help: "Sending Keystrokes To A DOS App".

  36. --> NEW!  You can now put a datafile in the program line instead of
  37.     having to specify the program name itself (if there's an associa-
  38.     tion for it in WIN.INI).

  40. --> NEW (Win31)!  Exit Windows, restart Windows, or reboot the system!
  41.     With the {#exitwindows} command you can also return an errorlevel
  42.     back to DOS, as in {#exitwindows 4}.  Use it to automate DOS
  43.     processes that can't run when Windows is running!

  45. --> IMPROVED!  More nonstandard keys have sendkey names.  If you use a
  46.     122-key keyboard, Olivetti, or Nokia, then sending those strange
  47.     extra keys should be much easier!

  49. --> IMPROVED!  ClockMan is even more tenacious in sending keystrokes to
  50.     the correct window.

  53. INTERNATIONAL --
  54. --> NEW!  The date formats respond completely to your WIN.INI [intl]
  55.     settings.  Change the long and short date formats, & the dates
  56.     change accordingly in the Set Alarms listbox, When dialog spin-
  57.     fields, Now dialog spinfields, DateBar, and icon title.

  59. --> NEW!  ClockMan now supports foreign names for days of the week and
  60.     months.  Just adapt one of our "language customization" files to
  61.     your needs!  See Help: "Power User's Secrets/Different Countries
  62.     & Languages".

  65. MISCELLANY --
  66. --> NEW!  F1 context-sensitive help available from whichever dialog box
  67.     you're in.

  69. --> NEW!  Customize the icon's title bar.  Add date, day of week, alarm
  70.     filename, etc.  Make it short - make it long; it's all up to you.

  73. --> NEW!  If you want ClockMan to run hidden, you can now choose it
  74.     directly from the Options dialog instead of having to add a
  75.     CLOCKMAN.INI entry.

  77. --> NEW!  If you try to start another instance of ClockMan with the
  78.     same alarm file, you now get a File|Open dialog to choose a dif-
  79.     ferent or a new alarm file.

  81. --> NEW!  The Set date/time dialog now starts with focus on the minutes
  82.     field, to make it even simpler for you to correct clock drift.

  84. --> FIXED!  Countdown alarms no longer count down 3 times per second.

  86. --> FIXED!  LAN users should experience fewer SHARE violations when
  87.     running many ClockMans in (C)lient mode with the same alarm file.

  89. --> NEW (Win31)!  You can drag & drop a ClockMan alarm file onto the
  90.     ClockMan icon to load another instance of the program with that
  91.     file.

  93. --> IMPROVED!  Each field in the date & time spinfields now carry over
  94.     to the next higher field if you spin to the end of the range. (i.e.
  95.     spinning past March 31 bumps up the month to April.)
