  7. The BMI programme for Windows (C) was developed to be 
  8. a simple but useful utility for calculating the Body Mass Index (BMI).
  9. BMI is something that is frequently used as an indicator of current
  10. weight to desired weight and correlates well with underwater weighing.
  11.  
  12. To use the programme, click on the file icon and follow the prompted
  13. instructions.  The programme will accept height input in units of metres,
  14. centimetres, or inches.  Weight can be input as pounds or kilogrammes.
  15. The programme will report any overtly erroneous input and prompt for
  16. correct input.

  20. This programme is produced as freeware and may be copied and
  21. distributed as such.  The only stipulation that the author or Galactica
  22. Software make is that it is distributed with both the executable file and
  23. these instructions.
