  25. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

  27. The  Model PS200-16F Controller is part of Perstor's ADRT product
  28. line.   This new floppy/hard disk controller is intended for  use
  29. in  any 16 bit expansion slot of an 80286 or 80386 microcomputer.
  30. Most IBM AT's and compatibles with processor speeds up to 25  mHz
  31. are compatible.

  33. The PS200-16F includes dual RAM allowing high speed, 0 wait state
  34. transfer  and an on-board BIOS supporting over 60 different  hard
  35. disk  drive types.   It supports  two hard disks and  two  floppy
  36. disks;  compatible floppy drives include 360K,  720K,  1.2MB, and
  37. 1.44MB  with  either 5 1/4 inch or 3 1/2 inch form  factors.   It
  38. also features a 16 bit bi-directional host interface and is CMOS,
  39. port  address,  and  register  set  compatible with  the  IBM  AT
  40. controller.

  42. The PS200-16F increases the capacity of new or existing RLL  hard
  43. disks having plated media by a full 100%.  This model operates at
  44. 10  megabits  per  second  and allocates 34  sectors  per  track.
  45. Because  the PS200-16F makes more demands on the hard  disk,  its
  46. use is recommended with newer,  high performance drives.
