- Problem: How do you access a security protected hard drive
- that has one or both of the following:

- 1. Corrupted essential file (command.com)
- 2. Confused configuration that fails load

- Solution: Use the Install/Boot disk which will ask for the
- password, answer it, then exit from the install to the OS and
- correct the Hard drive problem.

- Example:
- A virus that has attacked command.com
- A corrupted primary file
- An error in judgment on configuration

- 1. Boot from install disk
- 2. Enter password
- 3. Esc to DOS or reinstall
- 4. The hard drive should now be accessable for repair.
