Support for this product includes answering technical questions about
this product and offering updates.
Support Policies
I offer email and U.S. mail support to everyone (registered or not).
I answer support questions in the following order:
- First, I answer questions that I already know the answer or
can find quickly.
- Next, I answer questions from registered users.
- Then, I answer questions from unregistered users.
I am on CompuServe, which can also be reached from Internet, MCI mail,
and others.
(Sorry, it's impossible for me to offer phone support.)
My fee for support works like shareware. I "distribute" my support to
everyone that wants it. You "register" your support if you found it
useful. Support "registration" is 5 dollars for a completed support
thread. "Registration" is 20 dollars for a difficult or time
consuming support thread. Notice the fee is for a completed support
thread (i.e., conversation), not per email or per question. By
including another 5 dollars, you will automatically be pre-registered
for your next 3 support threads.
Support is automatically registered for the first 3 months after
registering this product.

(Note: I don't expect you to register shareware that you didn't find
useful. Therefore, I don't expect you to "register" support that you
didn't find useful.)
If your support needs are extensive or unique, it is possible to
establish a consulting/contracting agreement. (Please see the
Contracting Advertisement in the file CONSULT.DOC)
