  10.                       MULTI-PRINT PRO MAIN MENU
  11.  
  12.  GO     - Use this option to begin the print job.
  13.  FILE   - Choose the file you wish to print.
  14.  LAYOUT - Displays the different LAYOUT options visually. You are asked
  15.           to select the LAYOUT style you wish to use.
  16.  TABS   - Allows you to select the TAB value MULTI-PRINT will use
  17.           when it encounters an embedded TAB character in your text file.
  18.           MULTI-PRINT allows you to turn off TABS using this option.
  19.  BREAKS - You can Enable or Disable imbedded PAGE BREAK characters.
  20.  MARGIN - One Inch LEFT margin for 3-Hole punch. PORTRAIT only.
  21.  COPIES - Laser printers can print 1-99 COPIES of any page.
  22.           Use this option to tell the printer how many copies you want.
  23.           ( Normal setting is 1 copy of each page ).
  24.  OTHER  - You may turn off page-numbering, page-shadowing, select
  25.           a different font.
  26.  WEEK-AT-A-GLANCE  - Print a WEEKLY CALENDAR for this week or up to
  27.           six weeks from today.
  28.  TRAY   - Allows you to select AUTOMATIC or MANUAL FEED.
  29.  TYPE   - Select the manufacturer and model of your laser printer.
  30.  PORT   - Select LPT1 LPT2 LPT3 for your printer port. LPT1 is normal.
  31.  COLORS - You can select your favorite colors to come up when using
  32.           MULTI PRINT PRO.  Go Crazy!

  38.         Prints a 7-day calendar for the week you pick from this list.

  42.         USE page breaks: [default]
  43.             Some ASCII TEXT files have IMBEDDED PAGE BREAK CHARACTERS
  44.         within the text. You can identify them, because they look like
  45.         this -->    character.
  46.             They are created with a CNTRL+L keystroke. Ascii code 12.
  47.             This command tells the printer to stop printing this page
  48.         and go on to the next page.

  50.         IGNORE page breaks:
  51.             If you want this program not to use these commands, and to
  52.         print maximum text lines to the paper.

  55.                MULTI-PRINT PRO    TAB SELECTION MENU
  56.         Select TAB values to match the text file you are printing.
  57.         TABs cause spaces to be inserted into the printed document
  58.         until the column number divided by the TAB amount has a
  59.         remainder of ZERO. ( this is called a MODULUS ).
  60.         Example: if you are at column 5 and TAB = 8 when a TAB char
  61.         is found, SPACES will be inserted in columns 5,6,7,8 before
  62.         the next character is printed.

  64.         Experiment with this option to achieve the best looking
  65.         printed results. You will get used to TABS.

  68.         MULTI-PRINT PRO - OTHER OPTIONS
  69.         PAGE NUMBERING - Default is ON.
  70.           When ON the page number is printed to the UPPER-LEFT of
  71.         each square on the paper.
  72.         PAGE SHADOWING - Default is ON.
  73.           When ON the square boxes are SHADOWED with a dark line
  74.           to the right and bottom.
  75.         FONT SELECT - LIGHT - BOLD. Default is BOLD.
  76.           The LIGHT font is not as dark as the BOLD font. Choose the
  77.           one you like the best.
  78.         INTERNAL FONT - If you choose LANDSCAPE, STYLE 1 -G- and this
  79.           is enabled, MPP will use the 16.6 pitch font inside your
  80.           laser printer. ( LINE-PRINTER FONT )
  81.         BOTH SIDES PRINTING = Prints your whole job, PAUSES for you to
  82.           turn the paper over and put it back into the printer, then
  83.           continues to print the other side of the documents.

  111.  AUTOMATIC - The printer feeds paper from the automatic feed portion
  112.              of your paper tray. You just have to make sure that there
  113.              is enough paper in the tray, as usual.

  115.  MANUAL FEED - This is excellent for printing on both sides of the
  116.              paper.  IMPORTANT: when printing on both sides......
  117.              DO NOT USE PLAIN (inexpensive) COPY MACHINE PAPER!!!
  118.              If you do, The paper <crinkles-up> when printing the
  119.              second side. I found this out the hard way, so learn
  120.              from my mistakes!
  121.  
  122.              Use Good Quality paper when printing on both sides.
  123.              ( the thicker the better ) to avoid the <crinkles>.

  128.      If you don't know which PORT to use:

  130.      First, try PORT 1    ( this is the default, and the most common )
  131.        then, PORT 2.

  134.      If that doesn't work, go ask a friend who knows a lot about
  135.      computers what you should do next.
