BARCODE-FIMCODE Enable / Disable
Enable BARCODES to print the US POSTAL SERVICE barcode on the
bottom right-side of your envelopes. LPE will scan each address for
a valid ZIP or ZIP+4, and create the proper barcode for the address.
FIMCODES are the 5 black vertical bars near the stamp. These bars
tell the Post Office computer that the envelope is pre-barcoded.
Bar-coded envelopes will save you postage when 50 or more letters
are addressed within the same first 3 digits of one ZIP CODE.
Default is ENABLED. Barcodes are normally printed.
* help window 13
LAN Enable / Disable
ENABLED forces LPE to always download the soft-fonts immediately
before printing single envelopes.
When you are on a SHARED-PRINTER network, other users can scramble
the laser-printer settings in-between each of your print jobs,
causing you to lose your downloaded soft-fonts.
Default is DISABLED.
