  13. I asked for reviewers on this one, and got some great reviews, to the
  14. point that there is a file of reviews included with this submission.

  21. The submitter made the following claims, and the reviewers seem to feel
  22. that the program more or less does what it says. However, there are
  23. other, free, programs which do similar things.

  25.  # Restrict an application to run only when the user is logged in 
  26.    to a nominated file server
  27.  # limit the number of simultaneous users
  28.  # log usage to a file
  29.  # password protect.

  31. NETLOCK works by modifying an applications's binary and making it
  32. execute-only. This messes up CRC checking schemes, external or internal
  33. to the program.

  35. Note that there is no doc file in the archive, but one may be generated
  36. by running the program as "netlock /d >netlock.doc". I would have pulled
  37. the doc file out and included it in the archive, but with these reviews
  38. you should have a good idea what it does without going to the trouble
  39. unless you're actually going to try it.
