------<< OPERATION DESERT STORM PROMPTS >>------
Released on: 14 Aug, 1991
These Prompts were created by MSgt. A.R. ACEVES...UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS,
in support of all Military Personnel who were involved in the Liberation of
Kuwait. You may copy these programs freely, I only ask that you include the
README.COM and README.DOC (This file) with all copies.
The batch files are as follows:
_________________Files_________Syntax__________Display's_____________________
USA.BAT | USA | UNITED STATES of AMERICA
USMC.BAT | USMC | US MARINES
USNAVY.BAT | USNAVY | US NAVY
USARMY.BAT | USARMY | US ARMY
USAF.BAT | USAF | US AIR FORCE
ODSTORM.BAT | ODSTORM | OPERATION DESERT STORM
CHIRP.COM | CHIRP | Chirp sound
README.COM | README | On screen Info
README.DOC | COPY README.DOC PRN | Prints this file
_____________________________________________________________________________
These Prompts are set for a 25 line monitor, if your monitor is not 25 lines,
you will have to change the Prompt line within the Batch file's to the Number
of lines your monitor has, by using a batch/text editor.
The Prompt line inside of USMC.BAT looks like this:
PROMPT $e[24H$e[1;31mU$e[1;37mS $e[1;34mMARINES$e_$e[1;35m$l$e[0m$e[1;37m$p$e[35m$g$e[0m$e[1;32m
To set the Prompts to the number of lines your monitor is, change the first
set of numbers that are located in <$e[24H> to one number less than your
screen display's. eg,...If you have a monitor with 23 lines you would set the
number to 22 and the set now would look like; <$e[22H> minus the < >.
Also you must have DEVICE=C:\ANSI.SYS in your config.sys and/or specify the
path if it's not in your root directory and all (8) Batch files maybe placed
in a directory that is in your path, so you can execute them from any drive
and or directory.
