  1. 1  And he showed me a pure river of
  2. water of life, clear as crystal, pro-
  3. ceding out of the throne of God and
  4. of the Lamb.
  5.  
  6. 2  In the midst of the street of it, and
  7. on either side of the river, was there
  8. the tree of life, which bare twelve
  9. manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit
  10. every month: and the leaves of the
  11. tree were for the healing of the
  12. nations.
  13.  
  14. 3  And there shall be no more curse:
  15. but the throne of God and of the
  16. Lamb shall be in it: and his servants
  17. shall serve him:
  18.  
  19. 4  And they shall see his face: and
  20. his name shall be in their foreheads.
  21.  
  22. 5  And there shall be no night there:
  23. and they need no candle, neither light
  24. of the sun; for the Lord God giveth
  25. them light: and they shall reign for
  26. ever and ever.
  27.  
  28. 6  And he said unto me,  These
  29. sayings are faithful and true: and the
  30. Lord God of the holy prophets sent
  31. his angel to show unto his servants
  32. the things which must shortly be
  33. done.
  34.  
  35. 7  Behold, I come quickly: blessed is
  36. he that keepeth the sayings of the
  37. prophecy of this book.
  38.  
  39. 8  And I John saw these things, and
  40. heard them.  And when I had heard
  41. and seen, I fell down to worship before
  42. the feet of the angel which showed
  43. me these things.
  44.  
  45. 9  Then saith he unto me,  See you
  46. do it not: for I am your fellowservant,
  47. and of your brethren the prophets, and
  48. of them which keep the sayings of
  49. this book: worship God.
  50.  
  51. 10  And he saith unto me,  Seal not
  52. the sayings of the prophecy of this
  53. book: for the time is at hand.
  54.  
  55. 11  He that is unjust, let him be
  56. unjust still: and he which is filthy, let
  57. him be filthy still: and he that is
  58. righteous, let him be righteous still:
  59. and he that is holy, let him be holy
  60. still.
  61.  
  62. 12  And, behold, I come quickly: and
  63. my reward is with me, to give every
  64. man according as his work shall be.
  65.  
  66. 13  I am Alpha and Omega, the
  67. beginning and the end, the first and
  68. the last.
  69.  
  70. 14  Blessed are they that do his com-
  71. mandments, that they may have right
  72. to the tree of life, and may enter in
  73. through the gates into the city.
  74.  
  75. 15  For without are dogs, and
  76. sorcerers, and whoremongers, and
  77. murderers, and idolaters, and who-
  78. soever loveth and maketh a lie.
  79.  
  80. 16  I Jesus have sent mine angel to
  81. testify unto you these things in the
  82. churches.  I am the root and the
  83. offspring of David, and the bright
  84. and morning star.
  85.  
  86. 17  And the Spirit and the bride say,
  87. Come.  And let him that heareth say,
  88. Come.  And let him that is athirst
  89. come.  And whosoever will, let him
  90. take the water of life freely.
  91.  
  92. 18  For I testify unto every man that
  93. heareth the words of the prophecy of
  94. this book,  If any man shall add unto
  95. these things, God shall add unto him
  96. the plagues that are written in this
  97. book:
  98.  
  99. 19  And if any man shall take away
  100. from the words of the book of this
  101. prophecy, God shall take away his
  102. part out of the book of life, and out
  103. of the holy city, and from the things
  104. which are written in this book.
  105.  
  106. 20  He which testifieth these things
  107. saith,  Surely I come quickly.  Amen.
  108. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
  109.  
  110. 21  The grace of our Lord Jesus
  111. Christ be with you all.  Amen.
