Welcome to the DO script processor.

The program DO.EXE executes text file scripts. These scripts give
you a powerful tool to perform many tasks on your PC.

DO features include:

    ■    Control of the text screen display (position, color,
         speed of display, sound)
    ■    Ability to execute other programs
    ■    Variables which can be entered by the user and
         displayed
    ■    Script control with selective branching, loops, etc
    ■    Execution of scripts from other scripts
    ■    A complete math package
    ■    A communications package w/ANSI color responses
    ■    An onscreen clock
    ■    A calendar display and date/time functions
    ■    String handling functions
    ■    An INTERACTIVE mode for operator intervention/testing

The DO script processor is distributed as three files:

DOnnnn1[a].ZIP    The Executable files and quick reference
DOnnnn2[a].ZIP    The DO script processor tutorial
DOnnnn3[a].ZIP    DO sample scripts

"nnnn" is the version number.
"a"    is the revision number for this file only.

The only file that you technically need is "DOnnnn-1.ZIP"
however, without the other two files, DO will be difficult for
you to use.

If minor revisions are made, you may find that only one or more
of these files have changed.  That is, the tutorial may be
revised without revisions to the other files.  In this case, the
optional ["a"] filename letter will change, but the version
number "nnnn" will remain the same.  You need only download the
revised file.  It will work with the other two files.

It is NOT free software.  If you use the DO script processor for
more than 30 days, you MUST register it for $30.00.  For your
registration, you will receive the following:

    √  The DOMACED.EXE macro creation utility
    √  The runtime version of the DO script processor
    √  The DOMAKE.EXE script encryption utility for use with
       the runtime version

command:

    DO HISTORY

from the DOS command line.


The Blood Thirsty LICENSE AGREEMENT


    DO is copyrited software.  As such, you may use it like a book.  That
    is, you can move it from one machine to another or keep copies on each
    of the machines you personally use.  HOWEVER, you may NOT use multiple
    copies of DO simultaneously without paying for each copy!

    We cannot be responsible for any damages resulting from your use
    of the DO script processor.  We will fix any bugs in DO, however,
    we do not warrantee DO to be suitable for any particular purpose.

    We also cannot guarantee that DO will operate on your particular
    hardware and software setup.  You are fully resposible for any
    problems caused by incompatibility between the DO script processor
    and your computer hardware or software.

    You may distribute the complete DO package on BBS systems, through
    User Group libraries and directly to individuals as long as you do
    NOT charge to distribute the software.

    BBS operators may charge for access to their system as long as there
    is no specific charge to get the DO program. User Group libraries are
    specifically exempted from charges directly related to the production
    of diskettes.

    If you are a service which distributes shareware software on
    diskette CD ROM or other media for profit, you MUST obtain
    written permission from Bob Breedlove prior to distribution.

    If you intend to distribute DO or DO scripts with other
    software packages or as part of other products whether
    commercial, shareware or freeware or as a component of a
    collection of software, hardware or other product, you must
    first obtain a license agreement from Bob Breedlove.
