I have the callbook databases from j-Com (HamBase) and RT Systems (SAM) online.
If you send a message to HB or SAM @ W0RLI, with any number
of callsigns in the message (one call per line!) you will get
a return message with the callbook data on those callsigns.
For example:
SP HB @ W0RLI
wb1dsw
n0an
<or>
SP SAM @ W0RLI
wb1dsw
n0an
You will get a message back with the callbook information on wb1dsw and n0an.
The databases are also available directly as node commands at WLINN:
QTH call1 call2 call3 ...
Example: qth w0rli n7qrm wa7qrp
Example: qth w6am,n5qsp,w7qrm,k7uga,w0rli
Some other commands exist, but operate quite slowly:
QTH NAME first last
Example: qth name robert kawalski
QTH NAME allows last name only or first name only searches:
Example: qth name * smith
Example: qth name john *
QTH CITY city state
Example: qth city portland or
QTH ZIP zip
Example: qth zip 97068
QTH ZIP allows wildcards.
Example: QTH ZIP 97* will provide a list of all hams in Oregon.
Have fun!
