- This page covers notes for PrintGL 1.24 that are not included in the
- v1.22 manual.
-
- /Q sets the number of copies of each printed page (default /Q1).
- Page printers produce multiple copies faster using the "N copies"
- prefix code (see Useful Prefix and Suffix Codes).
-
- Color dot matrix formats use true black instead of a cyan, magenta,
- yellow mix.
-
- PMI includes five alternate settings instead of three.
-
- /DX1,..,/DX4 provide xon/xoff serial port drive.
-
- /DH1,..,/DH4 provide hardware handshaking serial port drive.
-
- The Canon BJ130 driver (/FJ) is faster, but sets the printer to 10
- pitch text.
-
- /FR drives the Tektronix ColorQuick.
-
- You can specify the nominal resolution of PostScript output with a
- prefix code that includes the dots/inch followed by ' XX'. For
- example /J 54 48 48 32 88 88 sets 600 dpi. The actual resolution
- should be set to match, for example /FS 600,600. You can specify the
- number of copies similarly with the XC macro, for example /J 50 32
- 88 67 makes 2 (ASCII 050) copies.
-
- Reverse image is supported on laser printers.
-
- Shading patterns are revised (but have the same coverage).
-
- PrintGL supports forty pens. PMI supports fifteen pens.
