BULK REGISTRATION:
()--Enclosed is $_______. We would like to order the number of
copies listed below at the bulk rate. We understand that a bulk rate
requires that there be ONE designated person through whom we will direct
all our questions (such as a secretary in a biology department or biotech
company or a member of a university's Academic Computing division). This
person's name is: _________________________________. Note that only ONE
copy of the program (for your convenience, both a 3.5 inch and a 5.25 inch
disk will be sent to you) and ONE copy of the printed documentation is
actually sent to you under this license, but you are free to make as many
copies as you register for:
10-25 copies . . . $20/copy 26-99 copies . . . $15/copy
100-150 copies . . $12/copy >150 copies . . . . $1750
(Add 10% to these prices after 01 September 1991)
Item Ordered: # Copies x Price per Copy = Total $
----------------------------------- -------- --- -------------- - -------
JEPRS version 2.51 software ________ x ______________ = _______
JEPRS version 2.51 printed manuals x $10.00* =
----------------------------------- -------- --- -------------- - -------
Total Enclosed: $______
*-Please add $6 per manual for postage
outside the United States.
EXAMPLE FOR BULK PURCHASE: The Academic Computing Services
division of a large medical center decides to purchase JEPRS for use by
its faculty, staff, and students. You guess that about 100 people will
end up using the program so you order 100 copies at $12/copy (see chart
above). You need a total of 5 copies of the printed documentation, since
two copies will be given out for photocopying by registered users and you
would like a few extra clean copies around, so you purchase 4 additional
copies of the printed documentation at $10 each. Thus your total cost is
$1200 for 100 users (including 1 5.25-inch disk, 1 3.5-inch disk and
1 documentation manual) plus $40 for 4 additional manuals.
You appoint one of the employees of Academic Computing as the JEPRS
troubleshooter, who helps users with problems and then contacts the
author of the program if s/he can't solve the problem.
