  11.     PART 3:  MENU AND COMMAND REFERENCE

  13.     The "Menu and Command Reference" is divided into sections, one for each
  14.     menu. The sections for the HyperPAD menus, listed below, are presented
  15.     in the order in which the menus appear on the menu bar. Then the Script
  16.     Editor menus are described following HyperPAD's menus.

  19.     HYPERPAD MENUS
  20.  
  21.         0  File menu: These commands perform pad-maintenance tasks,
  22.            including importing files; deleting pads; printing pages, labels,
  23.            or reports; and executing DOS programs.
  24.  
  25.         0  Edit menu: These commands allow you to copy, cut, paste, and
  26.            delete elements within the HyperPAD environment.
  27.  
  28.         0  Database menu: These commands perform data-management tasks,
  29.            including sorting, finding and querying.
  30.  
  31.         0  Go menu: These commands allow you to access other pads and pages
  32.            within the current pad.
  33.  
  34.         0  Tools menu: These commands access HyperPAD's authoring tools,
  35.            used to modify paint, buttons, and fields on pages and
  36.            backgrounds.

  38.         0  Object menu: These commands create and modify pads, backgrounds,
  39.            pages, buttons, and fields.

  41.         0  Workspace menu: These commands allow you to show and hide the
  42.            message box, tool box, status bar, and menu bar. When a painting
  43.            tool is active, this menu also allows you to set attributes for
  44.            applicable painting tools.

  46.         0  Block menu: These commands are used to alter a selected portion
  47.            of a page or background.

  56.     SCRIPT EDITOR MENUS

  58.         0  File menu: These commands are used to save and compile an
  59.            object's script, import and export scripts to and from text
  60.            files, and print scripts.

  62.         0  Edit menu: These commands perform cut, copy, paste, and delete
  63.            functions inside the Script Editor.

  65.         0  Search menu: These commands are used to find or replace text
  66.            strings in an object's script.

  69.     DESCRIPTION OF COMMANDS

  71.     The commands appear in alphabetical order within each section. The
  72.     description of each command includes reference to its:

  74.     Accelerator key:  Keystroke(s) to execute the command.

  76.     Keyboard shortcut:  Quick key combination (if available) to execute a
  77.     menu command.
