  1. README.1ST FILE     SHAREWARE DATAPRO PROGRAM       January 1992

  3.      DATAPRO teaches data processing skills to users wanting a good
  4. job.  It also has employment tests and a game.  This SHAREWARE
  5. sample of DATAPRO will give you a fine idea of what DATAPRO can do,
  6. even though this sample is not the full, complete program.  This
  7. SHAREWARE sample consists of a warm-up program (with an on-screen
  8. numeric keypad), three data input programs, two company computer
  9. employment programs which job applicants often take so those with
  10. inadequate skills can be screened out, and a game in which you type
  11. falling numbers before they hit and destroy buildings.

  13.      If you downloaded this program from a bulletin board system,
  14. the program is probably already installed on your hard disk.  If
  15. not, please follow the directions in the next paragraph.

  17.      DATAPRO is sent within one file named DATAPRO#.EXE.  To put
  18. DATAPRO#.EXE on your hard disk, make a new  directory by typing MD
  19. C:\DATAPRO [ENTER].  Then type COPY A:DATAPRO#.EXE C:\DATAPRO
  20. [ENTER].  Then go to the new directory by typing CD C:\DATAPRO
  21. [ENTER] and type DATAPRO#.  The file will split up into over a
  22. dozen files.  (The next time you wish to start up the program, just
  23. type CD C:\DATAPRO [ENTER] and then type DP [ENTER].)

  25.      Turn your printer on and print out the PRINTME file to get a
  26. copy of the data to be input in the three input programs.  A
  27. command to do this is:

  29.                  TYPE PRINTME > PRN   [ENTER]
  30.  
  31.      Then type DP or DATAPRO to get the main menu.

  33.      The complete DATAPRO costs $25.00 (no postage/handling), and
  34. is sent in a few days.  When you input data and later print out the
  35. results in the complete DATAPRO program, you can mail us the
  36. printouts and obtain HONOR ROLL Certificates of Achievement, which
  37. are suitable for framing, or copying and mailing to possible
  38. employers as part of your job application letters.  They will show
  39. employers how well you can input data!

  41.      A school version of DATAPRO (with pertinent school info) and
  42. permission to make backups for one classroom is available for
  43. $50.00 per classroom (no postage/handling).  Ask for a school
  44. version of DATAPRO for each classroom.

  47. wants to train for a good job.  Or upload it to bulletin boards and
