MYLOCK2.DOC
The syntax of the mylock2 program is as follows:
mylock2 -p[prompt] -k[password] -a[attempts] -?
If you use a -? this will show the usage and then stop.
All parameters are optional.
If you want to include a space in the prompt then quote it off.
I.e., "Access Code:".
Password may be any 8 character string. This IS case sensitive.
For example, Ab is different than ab. If you do not give the password
on the command line then you will be prompted for it.
Attempts is an integer number specifying how many attempts to allow.
If a number less than or equal to 0 is given it sets to allow an infinite
number of attempts.
If you run this program with no command line options, it will ask you for
the password you want to use. It will then ask you to verify it by typeing
it in again. Then it enters "locked mode" and waits for the user to enter
the password.
If all attempts meet with failure the computer shows an Access Denied
message and sounds and alarm.
This program is distributed under the shareware concept. If you
continue to use this software you are required to register it with
Kodiak Enterprises, 913.776.8181 x10. See locks.doc for more information.
